We built a dashboard that automatically updates every 15 minutes.
Employees can now easily track the dynamics of product positions and manage product promotional spending quickly and in a data-informed way.

1. Suitable means of data visualization
We went through numerous visualization options to show the dynamic changes in product positions. In the end, we came to an unconventional decision to use the Japanese candlestick chart. The trends in product positions at the time t and t-1 were chosen as open and close parameters, respectively.
Thus, we were able to build a clear, easy-to-read graph for users with different data literacy levels.
2. Revised dashboard layout
The Synergetic team offered an initial dashboard layout, which was found to be incomplete. During our cooperation with the Client, we realized that the data provided wasn’t enough to complete the tasks set for the project. So, Synergetic revised the layout and added an interactive table with filtered products to the dashboard.
Now, users on the Client’s side can click the product line to see the dynamic changes in its position.
